How we work in Nepal?

The initiatives of the Nepalese team of Rainbow Home and / or members of the board of Rainbow Foundation Nepal, guide and determine the content and implementation of the projects. Where appropriate, we provide support not just financially, but also with coaching. We ask and encourage the involvement of the local residents and have found it is important that they take their own responsibility and ownership of the project. The project is supervised by local directors, who are elected by the villagers, and along with our project coach, ensure successful implementation of the project. We wish to learn from the local population and we gladly transfer relevant knowledge back to the local population. We respect the local people and their culture; we try to use their local language too. All work, where possible, is carried out by local private companies and utalises public land. All projects by Rainbow Foundation Nepal are registered and approved by the Nepalese government.
